Canada’s balance of international payments, first quarter 2017
Canada’s current account deficit (on a seasonally adjusted basis) widened by $2.3 billion in the first quarter to $14.1 billion. In the financial account (unadjusted for seasonal variation), large foreign investment in Canadian corporate securities led the net inflow of funds into the economy.

Industrial product and raw materials price indexes, April 2017
The Industrial Product Price Index rose 0.6% in April, mainly due to higher prices for energy and petroleum products. The Raw Materials Price Index increased 1.6%, mainly as a result of higher prices for crude energy products.

The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) increased for the seventh consecutive month, rising by 0.2% in April.

Total fresh fruit available, including citrus, rose 0.9% to 77.5 kilograms per person in 2016 and was up 6.1% from 2006.

Egg production rose 3.1% from March 2016 to 63.6 million dozen in March 2017.
Aircraft movement statistics: Major airports, March 2017
There were 421,525 aircraft take-offs and landings in March 2017 at the 91 Canadian airports with NAV CANADA air traffic control towers and flight service stations, compared with 438,750 movements in March 2016.
