Delay of publication of monthly Canadian international trade data
Canadian international merchandise trade data for the September 2025 reference month will not be released today as originally planned.
Building construction price indexes, third quarter 2025
Residential building construction costs increased 0.6% in the third quarter, following a 1.0% increase in the previous quarter. Non-residential building construction costs rose 0.6% in the third quarter, following a 1.8% increase in the previous quarter.
Sawmills, August 2025
Lumber production decreased 1.9% from July to 3 757.9 thousand cubic metres in August. Production was down 0.4% from August 2024.
