Retail sales decreased 0.1% to $66.7 billion in February. Sales were down in five of nine subsectors and were led by decreases at gasoline stations and fuel vendors (-2.2%).

Monthly Survey of Manufacturing: Flash estimate, March 2024
Statistics Canada is providing an advance estimate of sales in the manufacturing sector for March. Advance results indicate that total manufacturing sales declined 2.8% in March. The largest decreases were in the transportation equipment and petroleum and coal product subsectors.
