Gross domestic product by industry, February 2025
Real gross domestic product was down 0.2% in February, driven by decreases in both goods-producing and services-producing industries.
Foreign direct investment, 2024
Canada’s net direct investment position with the rest of the world reached $971.0 billion at the end of 2024, up $187.0 billion from 2023. Growth of Canadian direct investment abroad continued to outpace growth of foreign direct investment in Canada.
Poultry and egg statistics, April 2025
Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats, as well as edible dried egg products, are now available for April 2025. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for March 2025, and data on egg production are available for February 2025.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, first quarter 2025
Millers milled 861 000 tonnes of wheat in the first quarter of 2025, while wheat flour production totalled 668 000 tonnes.

Production and disposition of tobacco products, March 2025
Canadian manufacturers produced 1.2 billion cigarettes in March 2025, up 20.7% from February 2025. Cigarette production was 3.4% lower compared with March 2024.
