U of A hosting free virtual Indigenous law speaker series – CFWE

The U of A Law Faculty and Indigenous Law Students’ Association is hosting a free event to educate people on Indigenous law and the role it plays in today’s society.
A free event composed of several influential Indigenous law figures is being provided to the public.
The University of Alberta Faculty of Law and Indigenous Law Students’ Association is set to bring back the Speaker Series. At the virtual event, a panel of guest speakers will help share information regarding Indigenous law and how it plays a role in modern society.
The event is held annually, and involves a theme that special guests will cover over a week-long round of two-hour presentations.
This year’s theme topic is ‘Coming Home: Bringing Children, Laws, and Legal Traditions Back To Their Homefire.’
