Aboriginal Business Mentorship Program (ABMP)
CCAB’s Mentorship program pairs Aboriginal entrepreneurs with experienced mentors to help them take their business to the next level. Entrepreneurs gain expert advice from industry leaders. Protégés choose the mentor that best fits their needs from a roster of available mentors.
Mentorship support is provided through in-person meetings between protégés and mentors or via email, telephone or Skype depending on the location of the participants. CCAB provides the initial introduction between matched participants. After that, all meetings are coordinated by the mentors and protégés directly.

Am I eligible?
- Canadian residents, of First Nation (Status or Non-Status), Métis or Inuit ancestry.
- Self-employed for a minimum of 2 consecutive years and are profitable; or, in a senior management position within an Aboriginal owned and/or community owned business for at least 3 years.
- The annual fee to participate in the Aboriginal Business Mentorship at the “Entrepreneur Level” is $350, and includes a one-year business membership with CCAB.

Information for Mentors
Interested in being a mentor? CCAB is always looking for seasoned business professionals to add to their roster of amazing people.
Canadian residents (Aboriginal or non-Aboriginal) who are well established in business, or retired, with several years of entrepreneurial, senior management or executive experience are eligible to become mentors. There are no age restrictions.
