FORT NELSON. x–19s. The mayor of Northern Rockies Regional Municipality says he’s concerned about divisions in his community over the natural gas industry. In an open letter, Mayor Bill Streeper apologized for actions by the local First Nations ejecting government officials from a summit on liquefied natural gas in Fort Nelson last week. Streeper says he’s worried that such disrespect could push the industry out of B-C.
