Call for Mi’gmaq Artist – Mesgi’g Ugju’s’n (MU2) Project

Mesgi’g Ugju’s’n (MU) is inviting Mi’gmaq artists from Gesgapegiag, Gespeg, or Listuguj to submit an expression of interest to create an original piece of artwork for the Mesgi’g Ugju’s’n 2 (MU2) Wind Project, in collaboration with Nordex.

The selected artwork will be displayed at Nordex’s Montreal office, alongside a photograph of the MU2 project, as a lasting representation of Mi’gmaq presence, partnership, and creativity.

Artwork details:

• Size: 16” x 20”
• Medium: Painting, drawing, or mixed media (wall-mounted)
• Theme: Open! Artists are encouraged to propose their own concept and interpretation

This is a paid opportunity, and we welcome proposals that reflect Mi’gmaq culture, land, energy, stories, or contemporary perspectives.
