Call for nominations to the Eeyou Marine Region Impact Review Board

The Government of Nunavut is looking for nominations to fill its seat on the Eeyou Marine Region Impact Review Board (EMRIRB).

The EMRIRB is responsible for screening and reviewing economic projects in the Eeyou Marine Region, including the ecosystemic and socio-economic impact of project proposals.

If you, or someone you know, are familiar with offshore environmental issues in the Eeyou Marine Region and would like to contribute to the work of the EMRIRB, please submit a resume and application form, to Naomie Pudluk at npudluk@gov.nu.ca or by fax at 867-975-7742. Applicants must be from Nunavut. Application forms are available at https://gov.nu.ca/environment/documents/board-application.

The application deadline is April 29, 2022, at 5 p.m. EST.
