The Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committee for the Trans Mountain Expansion and Existing Pipeline (IAMC-TMX) is inviting Expressions of Interest from speakers and presenters to participate in an upcoming virtual Indigenous Monitoring Community of Practice event, planned for March 24th 2026.
This virtual gathering will bring together Indigenous monitors, practitioners, technical specialists, and community representatives to share knowledge, tools, and experiences related to Indigenous monitoring programs across regions.
Purpose of the Event

Who We Are Inviting
We welcome Expressions of Interest from:
Both Indigenous and non-Indigenous practitioners working directly with Indigenous monitoring programs are encouraged to express interest.
Presentation Format
Presentations will be delivered virtually and may include:
Presenters are encouraged to keep presentations practical, accessible, and experience-based. A facilitated agenda will help ensure clear timing and smooth transitions.
Honoraria
Honoraria will be provided to Elders, cultural participants, and presenters in accordance with IAMC-TMX protocol

Next Steps
Submitted Expressions of Interest will be reviewed to support a balanced agenda that reflects diverse regions, experiences, and approaches to Indigenous monitoring. Selected speakers will be contacted with further details.
