Canadian Hemp Expert Russ Crawford Joins Wahupta’s Executive Team

VANCOUVER, May 6, 2019 – Wahupta Ventures Inc. is pleased to announce that it has added Russ Crawford to their executive team. Appointed as Wahupta’s Senior Farming Strategist Crawford will merge his years of hemp knowledge and experience with a global portfolio in the industry to further expand Wahupta’s agricultural farming production and processing.

Crawford’s impressive resume includes his continued leadership of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance (CHTA) as President since 2013. The CHTA is a national organization that promotes Canadian hemp and hemp products globally, and now Russ brings that experience with world-wide hemp farmers, processors, manufacturers, researchers, entrepreneurs and marketers to Wahupta.

I’ve seen the hemp industry evolve over decades, and feel that I want to be a part of Wahupta’s path to success.”

Additionally, drawing on his experience in commodity trading, transportation, and major agricultural operations, Crawford’s new role in Wahupta will include expanding and nurturing Wahupta’s growing network of farmers. Specifically, Crawford will oversee the newly formed Wahupta Farming Collective “WFC” which will focus on providing support to farmers and farming partners. Once the WFC is fully developed, it will provide exclusive access to support for hemp farm licensing, access to exclusive online training and courses on hemp farming and processing, while further securing maximum monetary return to farmers for raw hemp biomass.
