After arriving in Washington, D.C. yesterday evening, Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to make his second visit to the Oval Office later this morning, which, according to his advisory, will include an on-camera appearance alongside U.S. President Donald Trump (11:45 a.m.) before the two leaders retreat behind closed doors for a “working lunch.” (12:15 p.m.)
So far, the prime minister’s itinerary doesn’t include a separate back-and-forth with reporters following his meeting, but that could be added to the schedule later today.
