After making the rounds in New Brunswick yesterday afternoon — where, as per his X feed, he stopped by the Village Historique Acadien and met with “community leaders” in the nearby village of Bertrand — Prime Minister Mark Carney continues his East Coast tour on Prince Edward Island, where, according to his office, he’ll “announce new measures to lower costs for Canadians” later this morning. (10:30 a.m. AT)
According to the advisory, the prime minister’s mid-morning media availability will take place somewhere in Prince County, which includes the landing site for the Confederation Bridge, which links the province to the mainland.
