With the new session of the United Nations General Assembly set to get underway this morning, Prime Minister Mark Carney is set for another event-packed day as he makes the rounds of the high-level diplomatic circuit that traditionally accompanies the opening week proceedings.
According to his office, after attending the opening round of debate, Carney will join Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy to co-host a discussion that aims to “drive international humanitarian support for the immediate and unconditional return of Ukrainian children.” (11:30 a.m.)
