After arriving in Davos last night, Prime Minister Mark Carney will be making the rounds at the annual World Economic Forum today, where, according to his X account, he aims to “secure new trade and investment partners for Canada.”
On his itinerary today: A “featured conversation” that, as per his office, will take place during a “special plenary session” moderated by Financial Times associate editor Gideon Rachman, with BlackRock CEO Laurence Fink also expected to join the on-stage conversation, according to the WEF programme. (4:30 p.m. CET)
Earlier in the day, he’ll take part in a closed-door ‘Country Strategy Dialogue.’
