With his first go-round on the Asia-Pacific summit circuit set to wrap up on Saturday, Prime Minister Mark Carney was slated to start his second day in Korea with a one-on-one chat with Korean president Lee Jae Myung, who, as Canadian Press reports, also accompanied him on a tour of a shipyard “owned by a company that’s vying to build Canada’s next fleet of submarines.”
As per his itinerary, Carney was also scheduled to meet with his Thai, Australian, New Zealand and Singapore counterparts.
