Dakota Tipi First Nation made a major step forward in regional development that’s now underway as part of a new carbon-removal consortium and a renewed focus on healing, infrastructure, and reconciliation.

Chief Dennis Pashe says the First Nation recently signed a letter of intent with a company out of Montreal to launch a unique programme.
“We recently signed a memorandum, a letter of intent, with the Deep Sky Company out of Montreal, and that’s to start the carbon dioxide removal program up in southwestern Manitoba,” says Pashe
