Development Program information session webinars for the 2025-2026 fiscal year

As previously announced, Telefilm Canada’s Development Program will be open for submissions from September 4 to 25, 2025 for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.

To support applicants, Telefilm Canada will host Information Session Webinars with Telefilm representatives. There will be an open Q&A period at the end of the webinar.

Development Program

The Development Program supports the development of eligible Canadian feature films, and consists of four streams: the Prequalified Stream, the General Stream, the Indigenous Stream, and the Stream for Black People and People of Colour. To find out more about the Development Program, and to access the guidelines and other essential documentation, please visit the program’s web page.
