Durham Region and Scugog First Nation sign bilateral agreement – Durham Radio News

Officials from both governments signed a bilateral agreement on Wednesday.

The two parties are pledging to communicate openly about matters of mutual interest.

They will sit down at least four times a year to discuss various local projects.

In cases where the region needs to consult with First Nation leaders, they will consult in a more coordinated and collaborative manner.
