Under the direction of the Controller, Affiliates, the Finance Clerk-Affiliates provides a full range of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions in accordance with all NTI Policies and Government Regulations. Other responsibilities include account reconciliation and verification, assisting in managing transactions including bank reconciliations and audit preparation for NTI and affiliates as and when required.
To be invited for an interview; have a management studies diploma or equivalent; knowledge of general office procedures; minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an accounting environment; minimum two (2) years’ experience in data entry; strong work ethic and highly motivated with the ability to work with demanding deadlines; good interpersonal, organizational and team-building skills are essential; effective oral and written communication skills in English, Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun is an asset; working knowledge of computer software packages including Sage 50, Sage 300, and Microsoft Office is an asset.
Preference will be given to Inuit enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.
Starting salary is $96,500.00 per annum (commensurate with experience) a comprehensive benefit package including an employee pension plan, group insurance and vacation travel assistance.
Housing allowance of $35,865.00
