After briefing FINANCE members on his preliminary analysis of the minority Liberal government’s inaugural budget earlier this week, interim Parliamentary Budget Officer Jason Jacques will be back on the committee circuit this afternoon — this time, at INDIGENOUS AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS, where he’ll provide more details on federal funding for First Nations and Inuit police funding, as outlined in the newly released report prepared by his office at the committee’s request. CANADIAN HERITAGE continue their self-initiated examination of the “effects of influencers,” as well as “social media content,” on “children and adolescents” with expert testimony from Defend Dignity, Escalate the Conversation, MediaSmarts and White Ribbon, along with York University associate professor Nathalie Coulter (4:30 p.m.)
