Paul Martin will be in Owen Sound this Fall focusing on philanthropy

(Owen Sound)–

Former Prime Minister Paul Martin will be in Owen Sound this fall.

It’s part of the Community Foundation Grey Bruce marking it’s 20th anniversary.

Executive Director Aly Boltman says they have been working getting Martin to come to Owen Sound for about two years.

She says having Ovid and Verona Jackson involved along with Glen Henry …. helped make the event happen.

The Right Honourable former Prime Minister will focus on philanthropy and vital role it plays in supporting community charities and not for profit organizations.

After leaving Federal politics, Martin made Aboriginal issues the centre of his life’s work.
