Fumes from fuel leak force Baker Lake high school students to stay at home
Secondary school students in Baker Lake are still waiting for fumes to dissipate from a fuel spill at Jonah Amitnaaq high school before they can return to class.
The school has been closed all week following a fuel tank spill inside the building’s mechanical room.

At that point, the high school’s population of about 350 students were sent home.
