The Aboriginal Human Resource Council (AHRC) recognized Hatch with the Workplace System Leadership (Communications) Award at the Workplace Leadership Awards Luncheon.  The luncheon was held on May 14 during the Inclusion Works ’15 event in Toronto, Canada. The award, within the Performance Excellence category, recognizes Hatch’s leadership role in demonstrating the implementation of innovative and effective strategies and practices that have advanced Indigenous inclusion in the workplace.

Tony Cesta, technical director, accepted the award on behalf of Hatch. He commented “At Hatch we just do what is right, and are very proud when it’s noticed by other great leaders in the community. We know that the top diversity and inclusion companies are also the top performers. So it’s good business, but it’s also the right thing to do.”

“Hatch is very proud to be recognized by AHRC for our demonstrated commitment and continuous improvement towards indigenous inclusion and outreach,” adds Corinne Boone, managing director, Environmental Services Group.

Hatch has developed a relationship with First Nation, Métis, Inuit, and Native Americans based on the values of honesty, respect, and transparency. The ability to deliver successful projects on behalf of our clients is enhanced by our knowledge and understanding of the histories, cultures, protocols, values, aspirations, and governments of First Peoples across North America.
