Indigenous energy summit hears from Suncor’s Rich Kruger on partnerships, prosperity – play 103.7

FORT McMURRAY — Suncor Energy CEO Rich Kruger has delivered the keynote address at the Spark Indigenous Energy Summit, a national gathering focused on Indigenous leadership in Canada’s energy future.
The two-day summit, created by majority Indigenous-owned partners Mokwateh and Connect Partnership Group, brought together Indigenous leaders, energy executives, investors and policymakers to discuss equity participation, energy security and Indigenous-led economic opportunities.
Summit chair JP Gladu said more than $630 billion in energy and resource projects are proposed across Canada, and Indigenous leadership is essential to ensuring those developments move forward responsibly and with shared benefits.
