Ontario’s $57 million over three years will lead to “long-term stability, sustainability, and growth”
The $57 million in provincial funding that’s being allocated for postsecondary Indigenous educational institutes over the next three years is a “critical investment,” says the head of the Indigenous Institutes Consortium.
Announced Feb. 12, the money is part of a larger $6.4-billion postsecondary funding package, aimed at building long-term sustainability in the sector, the province said. It comes through the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security.
