Press Release
Toronto (Tkaronto), April 22, 2026 – The Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) is pleased to announce the selection of 16 projects through the third year of its Podcasting Program, allocating a total of $266,000 in funding for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The funding includes a $50,000 contribution from YouTube Canada to support the emerging podcasting storytellers.
As part of this partnership, five program recipients will participate in virtual training sessions and workshops led by YouTube. These sessions are designed to equip creators with strategies to maximize platform tools, grow audiences, and enhance the visibility of their work.
The Podcasting Program supports the development and production of engaging audio content by Indigenous screen-based and audio storytellers.
