Indigenous station manual released – ABC Online

A manual has been released focusing on improving the sustainability and viability of northern Indigenous stations.

The manual was created after the futures of a number of stations were questioned in 2011 at a stakeholders’ conference in Alice Springs.

The Department of Agriculture funded the study, which was based on various stations in the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Queensland.

Lamboo Station, in WA’s Kimberley, and Mistake Creek, in the Northern Territory, were some of the stations used as case studies during the project.
