Job Description:

All time Rebar Construction Ltd. located at 3526 Chase Street, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada V2T 5B3, is currently hiring two Ironworkers to start immediately.

Position: Ironworker

Position Available: 2

Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent

Wage: $27.00 per hour, for 40 hours per week

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Location: 3526 Chase Street, Abbotsford, BC, Canada V2T 5B3

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and detail sheets to lay out work
• To place steel bars in beams and pillars
• Load and unload materials required for work
• Able to design, cut and twist metal sheets
• Assemble and rigid manufactured metal surfaces
• Examine structures and equipment for deterioration, flaws with specifications
• Must be physically fit, able to work in all weather conditions

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Work Experience: Completion of two to three-year apprenticeship program or four years of experience

Language: English is required

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, ability to work in various work environments, heavy weight lifting

Essential Skills: Reading text, Problem solving, Decision making, Significant use of memory, time management, continuous learning
