After convening a virtual huddle with his front bench team this morning, Prime Minister Mark Carney heads west to kick off the next lap of his post-budget promotional tour in the Greater Vancouver Area, where, according to his office, he’ll “highlight new local infrastructure investments” included in the proposed spending plans unveiled by Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne last week. (3:45 p.m. PT)
He’ll also drop by an unnamed “small business” (5:25 p.m. PT) and mingle with local party supporters at a $1,750-per-ticket reception hosted by Vancouver-area Liberal MP Taleeb Noormohamed. (6 p.m. PT)
