Since earlier this year we’ve been letting people know about this great opportunity, and many clients are interested in applying for grant money. We felt that having a brief online info-session would give you all a chance to ask about the government training grant approval process.

If you are thinking about taking your next course with SEEC, there has never been a better time to choose a program and enroll. The Ontario Government has announced a time-limited grant, that you can apply for in conjunction with your employer, where you may be able to receive funding for up to 2/3 of your tuition – up to $10,000 per person.

Key points about the Canada-Ontario Job Grant:

It is a new program. Funding will be available on a first come first serve application basis: The grant program will be reviewed after one year, so it is important to apply as soon as possible to receive your grant money covering up to 2/3 of your tuition.

Your employer has to apply on your behalf and you should work with them to identify skill gaps that need to be addressed so the company can grow. Applications for funding for ANY Schulich Executive Education Centre program can be made via the Canada-Ontario Job Fund.

Government funding will pay for 2/3 of Training costs, up to a maximum of $10,000 per individual working in Ontario.
