After an event-packed day in Canberra that, in addition to an address to the Australian parliament, included a back-and-forth with reporters during which, as Canadian Press reports, he seemingly added yet another level of nuance to his position on the “escalating conflict in the Middle East” by refusing to “categorically rule out (Canada’s) participation,” Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to head to Tokyo later today to begin the final round of his tri-continental tour.
Meanwhile, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is set for another round of meetings with “German officials and business leaders” in Berlin.
