Launch of the CESO/First Nations Partnership Program

We are proud to announce the CESO / First Nations Partnership Program, thanks to a generous grant from the RBC Foundation.

Since 1969, CESO has completed more than 30,000 assignments with Aboriginal communities across Canada.  Through our commitment to delivering results and our team of Volunteer Advisors – executive professionals with an average of 25 years industry experience – CESO is regarded as a trusted source for technical expertise and mentorship.

In partnership with the RBC Foundation, the CESO / First Nations Partnership Program offers First Nations communities a strategic approach towards economic and social self-sufficiency through CESO’s innovative partnership model. We can enable a limited number of communities to work together with a CESO Volunteer Advisor to create a comprehensive community action plan. These plans will identify and prioritize the community’s specific development needs in their priority sectors to create a detailed multi-year action strategy or Partnership Action Plan (PAP).

CESO’s expert Volunteer Advisors can provide high-impact assistance in the areas of:

• Economic development (business support, community economic development)

• Health planning and management

• Community planning (housing, public works, land management)

• Governance (leadership, strategic planning, human resources)

• Finance and accounting

If you are interested in participating in the CESO/First Nations Partnership Program, please click here to learn more and access the application form.  We will be accepting applications until October 18, 2013.
