NorQuest College’s podcast family is growing!

The latest episode of the Leadership in Challenging Times podcast is now available. This time, Dr. Jodi Abbott and Lieutenant-Colonel Jeff Wilson speak with Ronald Smith, a lawyer with Neuman Thompson, and Bruce Hertz, the City of Edmonton Project Manager in charge of cannabis transition. Together, they discuss how organizations need to deal with the recent legalization of cannabis. It’s an interesting conversation about a timely topic.

We are also pleased to present the first episode of Circle of Knowledge. This new podcast is a part of NorQuest’s Circle of Knowledge: Indigenous Speakers Series. Throughout the 2018-19 academic year, the college will feature Indigenous leaders who share their views on topics such as Indigenous activist movements, governance structures, treaties, women in Indigenous leadership, and more. The podcast kicks off with Lewis Cardinal, speaking about his family, history, and his personal journey as an Indigenous leader. Host Conor Kerr joins Lewis to dive deeper into Lewis’ experiences, wisdom, and views on what leadership means.
