North Star Air’s vice president says this is the first time they’ve done Kashechewan First Nation for the campaign
THUNDER BAY — The arrival of a Canadian Forces CC-130J Hercules at the city’s North Star Air hangar marked the delivery of the final shipment of this year’s Toys & Skates for the North campaign on Saturday.
The charitable initiative aimed to support youth in remote northern communities by transporting more than 60 items of skates and hockey equipment — eight pallets of goods in total — to them, accompanied by toys previously delivered and now being prepped.
