Manitoba to accelerate cleantech with Foresight Canada partnership – Environment Journal

The Manitoba government is investing up to $1.25 million annually over three years in a partnership with the Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre, a major step forward accelerating clean technology adoption and advancing Manitoba’s Path to Net Zero strategy, according to Manitoba’s Innovation and New Technology Minister Mike Moroz and Environment and Climate Change Minister Mike Moyes.

“Manitoba is already a leading innovation hub for cleantech in Canada, and this investment will give Manitoba companies the support to help tackle climate change, which is our greatest generational challenge,” said Minister Moroz. “This funding, combined with a proven partner like Foresight will not only help the eco-tech companies reach their potential, but will also pull private capital off the sidelines and into the game.”
