Media are invited to a press conference during which a new signatory to the Save the Fraser Declaration will be announced, as well as a new accord opposing the Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline and oil tanker expansion in British Columbia’s coastal waters.
The Save the Fraser Declaration is an indigenous law banning tar sands pipelines and tankers from crossing BC, signed by representatives of over 130 First Nations.
