Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) officials will hold a virtual technical briefing to discuss the ongoing implementation of the Online Streaming Act (formerly Bill C-11) and the CRTC’s decision on base contributions from online streaming services to the Canadian broadcasting system.

The media technical briefing will be for background information only and not for attribution.

Notes:

• Media representatives who wish to attend must register with CRTC by emailing media@crtc.gc.ca to obtain the Microsoft Teams link before 5 pm (EDT) on June 3, 2024.
• Media who participate will have an opportunity to ask questions.
