Media Advisory: Premier Hogan Attending Launch of Xplore Project

The Honourable John Hogan, KC, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend the official launch of the Xplore fibre-to-the-home network construction project tomorrow (Thursday, September 11).

The event takes place on Emberly Place, off Mahers Road, Route 70 at 12:00 p.m. Directions from St. John’s can be found here.

This project is the result of $94 million in joint funding from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Government of Canada to bring high-speed Internet access to over 36,000 homes in over 350 rural, remote and Indigenous communities throughout the province.
