Media Advisory – Tabling of the Auditor General of Canada’s Report on Environmental and Social Review at Export Development Canada – Tuesday, 10 June 2014

Ottawa, 9 June 2014—The Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG) will present its audit report on Environmental and Social Review at Export Development Canada (EDC) on Tuesday, 10 June 2014. The audit focused on the suitability of the design and on the implementation of Export Development Canada’s Environmental and Social Review Directive and other environmental and social review processes. The audit also reviewed EDC’s responses to recommendations from the OAG’s 2009 report.

The report will be provided to Parliament and subsequently made available on the Office of the Auditor General of Canada Web site.
