Membertou Chief Terry Paul has been inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame and bestowed the Order of the Business Hall of Fame.

Paul is the third Indigenous leader in Canadian history to receive the national recognition.

His efforts to be an economic leader for Indigenous communities around the country were highlighted during a recent ceremony, and he says other First Nations use Membertou as a model when doing business.

Paul says the recognition is the result of a team effort with a group of people committed to moving the community forward.
