CALGARY, May 22, 2014 – Cal Dallas, Minister, Alberta International and Intergovernmental Relations, will outline the provincial government’s Building Alberta Plan at the Conference Board of Canada’s Western Business Outlook Conference. The Minister’s keynote presentation will describe the actions being taken to open new markets for Alberta’s products and services. He will also be sharing Alberta’s outlook for international trade and investment.
According to The Conference Board of Canada’s first “How Canada Performs: Economy” report card, Alberta has the top-performing economy among the provinces and Canada’s international peer countries. Two senior Conference Board of Canada’s economists will present economic outlooks for Alberta, Canada and the world.
