On September 24, MNBC launched a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Métis Mobile Community Initiative. MNBC’s Ministry of Education is seeking professional services to assess the viability, implementation and sustainability of a mobile community programming initiative that includes purchasing and retrofitting 3 mobile units.The goal of this RFP is to better serve the 38 Métis Chartered Communities (MCC) and 90,000 self-identified Métis individuals in British Columbia. The result of the Métis Mobile Community Initiative will be the development of a mobile community program that includes identifying the best delivery devices and methods that will ensure the needs of Métis Chartered communities and families are met.
