In his latest Annual Report, Ombudsman Paul Dubé highlighted our commitment to the co-development of an Indigenous Services Plan with Indigenous partners. We are excited to take the next steps in this journey with a series of engagement sessions this fall!

We have set out to co-develop a culturally grounded strategy for engagement with Indigenous communities. We have partnered with Tawi:ne Consulting Inc., a woman-owned First Nations company specializing in Indigenous engagement and consultation.

We are looking to raise awareness and improve our services to Indigenous people, build meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations, and integrate reconciliation into our daily work.
