NU Government: Justice Committee seeking members in four communities

Do you have knowledge and experience with restorative justice, social issues and Inuit societal values? Interested in helping victims and offenders? The Justice Committees in Arviat, Cambridge Bay, Gjoa Haven and Coral Harbour are currently recruiting members.

Justice committees in Nunavut use a community-based approach to assist victims of crime and work with people who have caused harm by committing an offence. Committee members are volunteers and receive honoraria for attending meetings. Training will be provided.
