The provincial government is investing in businesses who help eliminate barriers for racialized communities.
Graham McGregor, the minister of citizenship and multiculturalism, was in Kitchener on Wednesday at Crafty Ramen to announce a cash injection of $5 million into the Racialized and Indigenous Supports for Entrepreneurs (RAISE) Grant Program.
“This grant didn’t just help my business grow, it helped me grow,” said Miki Ferral, owner of Crafty Ramen and previous recipient of the RAISE. “I’m grateful to the government of Ontario and the team behind RAISE for creating spaces for small business to thrive.”
