After touching down in Riga, Latvia yesterday evening, Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to wrap up his whirlwind European tour later today, although not before a morning visit to the Ādaži Military Base, where, according to his itinerary, he’ll “deliver a brief statement to media.”

He’ll also get the opportunity to chat with some of the Canadian Armed Forces members currently serving in what Canadian Press notes is “Canada’s largest overseas mission,” which is now on track to continue through 2029.
