Iqaluit, Nunavut, July 28, 2025 – The Qikiqtani Inuit Association (QIA) is seeking individuals that are interested in applying for one of the seven boards listed below. To be considered for any of these positions, you must include a completed application form and a current resume. Some boards or committees may require a Criminal Records Check, completed within the last 6 months.
One position, 3-year term – All Qikiqtani Inuit are eligible to apply
Two positions, 3-year term All Qikiqtani Inuit are eligible to apply
Two positions, 3-year term – Inuit from Resolute Bay are eligible to apply for this committee
One position, 3- year term – Inuit from Pangnirtung are eligible to apply for this committee
One position, 3-year term – Inuit from Kimmirut are eligible to apply for this committee
One position, 3-year term – Inuit from Grise Fiord are eligible to apply for this committee
This is a new entity, in the process of being created and named by the Nunavut Tunngavik Inc (NTI). Interested applicants will form the first ever housing board to own, operate and maintain houses for employed Inuit. The new entity is in the process of being incorporated. Inuit who reside in the Qikiqtani region are eligible to apply.
