2015-04-13 | The Day Scholar Class Action April 13 – 17, 2015 & April 20, 2015

shishalh and Kamloops Bands will be gathering outside the federal courthouse at 8:00AM (791 West Georgia Street) with the support of the Squamish Nation to pray, sage smudge, and to cedar bow brush everyone before going into the court. Squamish will present drummers and singers to welcome the AFN, BC AFN, Union of BC Indian Chiefs, and FN Summit officials who have been invited on this auspicious occasion.

Court will commence at 9:00am and adjourn at 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with the exception of Tuesday April 14, 2015 and will continue through until Monday April 20th 2015. A Cultural gathering is being hosted by the Squamish Nation at the

Chief Joe Mathias Centre located at 100 Capilano Road, North Vancouver on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 5:00PM. The dinner will be held in honor of the Day Scholar Representative Survivors from both Nations and the honoured guests will be covered with a blanket in keeping with our cultural protocol.
