Community members of the Pictou Landing First Nation chose their Chief and Council in an election on Thursday.
Tamara Young was re-elected Chief, winning comfortably over challenger Warren Francis.
Returned for another term on council were incumbents Dominic Denny, Derek Francis, Crystal Denny, and April Nicholas. New to council are Hubert Nicholas, Aaron Prosper and Marsha Mills.
